HUBUNGAN PERAWATAN PAYUDARA TERHADAP KELANCARAN PENGELUARAN AIR SUSU PADA IBU NIFAS DI PUSKESMAS WINI TAHUN 2024

Abstract

Latar belakang: Karena payudara sangat penting untuk memproduksi ASI bagi bayi, perawatan payudara harus menjadi fokus utama dalam menyusui. Data Puskesmas Wini menunjukan dari 96 ibu nifas, 26 orang diantaranya mengalami ketidaklancaran ASI, serta tidak mengetahui tentang perawatan payudara. Tujuan: Tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan perawatan payudara dengan kelancaran produksi ASI pada ibu nifas di Puskesmas Wini tahun 2024. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan di wilayah Puskesmas Wini pada tanggal 11 Maret hingga 20 April 2024. Populasi yang diteliti mencakup semua ibu nifas di Puskesmas Wini yang berjumlah 30 orang dengan jumlah sampel 30 responden dan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil: Sebagian besar responden memiliki perawatan payudara baik dengan jumlah 14 responden (46,7%), dan sebagian besar responden memiliki kelancaran ASI dengan jumlah 16 responden (53,3) serta hasil uji statistic chi squaremenunjukkannilaip value sebesar 0,038. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan perawatan payudara dengan kelancaran produksi ASI pada ibu nifas di Puskesmas Wini tahun 2024.

Background: Since the breasts play a crucial role in producing breast milk for the baby, breast care should be a primary focus during breastfeeding. Data from Wini Health Center show that out of 96 postpartum mothers, 26 experienced difficulties in breast milk production and lacked knowledge about breast care. Objective: To determine the relationship between breast care and the smooth production of breast milk among postpartum mothers at Wini Health Center in 2024. Method: This study is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional design. It was conducted in the Wini Health Center area from March 11 to April 20, 2024. The population consisted of all 30 postpartum mothers at Wini Health Center, with a total sample of 30 respondents selected using total sampling. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test. Results: Most respondents had good breast care practices, with 14 respondents (46.7%), and most had smooth breast milk production, with 16 respondents (53.3%). The chi-square statistical test showed a p-value of 0.038. Conclusion: There is a relationship between breast care and the smooth production of breast milk among postpartum mothers at Wini Health Center in 2024.
